Swiping right from BOOKMARKS tab to open HISTORY tab will register the swipe as a tap, and opens a bookmarked website.

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:55.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/55.0 Build ID: 20170421030241 Steps to reproduce: Bookmark 8 or more websites so the BOOKMARKS tab will be completely populated. 3 dots > Bookmarks> we see TOP SITES | BOOKMARKS | HISTORY , with BOOKMARKS being open. Swipe right to open HISTORY tab. Actual results: Most of the time it won't swipe. It registers the swipe as a touch and opens whichever bookmarked website my finger was located on. If I do a partial swipe to the right (towards TOP STIES), just a tiny little bit without lifting my finger, then quickly change the direction of the swipe to move to HISTORY tab, it will work 100% of the time. Expected results: It should be possible to swipe right to HISTORY, just like the TOP SITES tab allows you to swipe right to BOOKMARKS.

I do realize that the white vertical space on the right is meant for swiping, but I'm assuming my observation is a bug and not an intended design because sometimes the swipe works while done on the bookmarked websites. Either way the white vertical space is not practical for those who use a 5.5" or bigger phone with the left hand.

(In reply to smartfon.reddit from comment #1) > I do realize that the white vertical space on the right is meant for > swiping, [...] It isn't, actually, and shouldn't have any effect on touch handling - this is just reserved space for the bookmarks/saved for offline viewing/... icon to appear in.

(In reply to Jan Henning [:JanH] from comment #2) The swipe works with 100% accuracy if done from that white space or the "Desktop Bookmarks" folder on top. It appears that only a bookmark "hijacks" the swipe. It will either open the bookmark or do nothing while swiped, most of the time.
