User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:49.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/49.0 Build ID: 20161019084923 Steps to reproduce: Created a joomla website with animation extension, JSN Easy Slider. Website is www.martinez.netrac.uk. Actual results: Animations work OK in ver 49.0.2 but same animations fail after a while with version 52.0.2. Failures seen on front page and under projects tab of menu. Images fail to fade, rotate and/or slide after a few cycles of the images. Expected results: Animations of images should continue without degradation
Please visit http://www.martinez.netrac.uk/video. The video details the problem with visuals with Firefox 52.0.2 when viewing the front page animated images of this site and the slider items under Projects menu tab. Visuals appear to be OK with ver.49.0.2. Content of website built with Joomla and JSN Easyslider extension. Images are png.
I have a similar problem: An example is at www.edelweb.de/zechef/recettes/ or www.edelweb.de/imp after clicking to the cube. Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:53.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/53.0 does not work as before. The 'carroussel' is composed by individual animations for each image, in order to make it work on IE. The animations work with Chromium, and worked in the same way with firefox before under ubuntu 16.10, The animations modifies the z-index in order to have the 'front' images clickable. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/52.0 works ok.
If we get migraines and/or seizures, how should we protect ourselves against similar animations?
Does the problem persist under Firefox Nightly?

(In reply to Emma Humphries ☕️ (she/her) [:emceeaich] (UTC-8) +needinfo me from comment #4) > Does the problem persist under Firefox Nightly? Yes it does. You can easily see this yourself with the nightly install. As requested before please visit www.martinez.netrac.uk. The animated pictures on the home page operate correctly to start with but after a short while they deteriorate and some of the slices just flash on and off instead of a smooth transition. Older version of firefox was fine implying that problem is not website code related.
