135885 - Would like ability to move attachment to different bug

This would be useful for:

If a bug gets "split" into two parts (because it involves 2 different
components), a new bug can be created, and one of the screenshots can be moved
to the new bug - this just happened to me with bug 86532 and bug 135883. 
Because I couldn't do this, there are now two copies of the same screenshot in
the mozilla database.

This also would be nice for moving screenshots over to "duplicate" bugs.

hmm, not sure if I like the idea of being able to remove an attachment outright
from a bug, but I do like the idea of adding he attachment to a different bug's
attachment list as well...  on the other hand, that would make editing
attachment statuses weird if the bugs happened to be in different products...

dunno.  some things to think about anyhow.

i think that an attachment should be able to reflect all flags for all components in which it lives. but any bug view should only show the attachment flags that apply to the component of the bug from which an attachment is viewed.

I was going to ask for the ability to move attachments from one bug to 
another, but it occurs to me that attachments are immutable, so there's
no reason (or rather, no reason occurs to me) to disallow an attachment 
from being attached to multiple bugs.  This would be particularly useful
when a bug is split, and some of the patches for the old one properly 
belong to the new bug after the split, but we don't want to lose track of
them in the old bug either.

I'd like to ask the priority of this RFE to be raised.  
We split bugs apart from time to time, and it is very desirable to be able
to move patches from one bug to the new split-off bug where they belong 
after the split.  Either move them or attach them to both bugs.
