1359368 - EGroupware calendar in Lightning drops events after some syncs

Steps to reproduce:

* Create a bunch of events on EGroupware.
* Subscribe to that calendar using the address https://egrw.your.server/egroupware/groupdav.php/calendar/
* Let the calendar synchronize several times.


Actual results:

The events in the calendar get less and less. In the error console it says "deleted local href /egroupware/groupdav.php/calendar/<number>.ics".

Toggling "offline support" restores all events and the cycle starts again.


Expected results:

Events should stay in the calendar and just be deleted when they also are deleted on the server.

That message happens when a synchronization has determined the remote event no longer exists, it sounds like this may be an escaping issue. Can you enable calendar.debug.log and calendar.debug.log.verbose and then record the logs between toggling offline support (preferably turning it on) and the first few hrefs deleted and attach that as a text file? Are you using the latest version of EGroupware?

Yes, I'm running 16.1.20170415-8.1.

I noticed BTW that it works fine when I create the events in Lightning.

Hi Philipp, 
I had a look at one of these disappearing events: it contains beside the series master und two correct exceptions with a recurrence-id, one without a recurrence-id. I'm waiting for a database dump to work out how that can happen.
Do you think an exception without recurrence-id could be the reason Lightning deletes the event from it's internal cache?
