i.e. the same group who can take a release tracking flag from ? to +. In a separate bug, I'm asking for a group with quantum-flow's leads to be created who will aslo be able to edit the 56 and 57 flags.

So this refers to status-firefox56/57, what about tracking-firefox56/57?
Flags: needinfo?(ehumphries)
I think you're fine to leave those as-is since normal users can only set them to ? anyway and presumably RelMan will be triaging those nominations like usual. The accidental flag setting was mainly an issue for the status flags.
So we're going to change the groups for all the states of status-firefox56 and status-firefox57 from "everyone" to mozilla-next-drivers

It is now restricted to mozilla-next-drivers -- Ryan, can you verify?
Flags: needinfo?(ryanvm)
Per IRC discussion, they're still visible to me, but unable to be set to anything other than ---. And enter_bug.cgi doesn't show any settable values either.
Flags: needinfo?(ryanvm)
I can also hide them from enter_bug, and we could discuss hiding them to people that can't set them as well. I'll NI dkl for a historical perspective. dkl: anything we're missing here?

Also doesn't look like RyanVM is in the mozilla-next-drivers which would explain why he only sees '---'. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/page.cgi?id=group_members.html&group=mozilla-next-drivers dkl
Flags: needinfo?(dkl)
I think that we specifically want 56/57 to not be ?-able by non-drivers because those versions are not out yet.
