Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to youtube.com mobile site
2. Play a video
3. Open a new tab
or
1. Go to youtube.com mobile site
2. Play a video
3. Lock the screen
4. Wake screen
5. Tap play button from lock screen
Actual results:
- In both cases the video does not play.
Expected results:
- The video should play in both cases.
Note:
- The video will continue playing when switching tabs only on the Desktop Site version.

Firefox for Android has the same issue when using Youtube's mobile site. See bug 1355407.

This is a change made by youtube themselves. Once the pageVisibility of a webpage changes it pauses the video.
The pageVisibility is set to "hidden" when the tab is minimized or when the app is closed. This stops the vieo.
