User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:53.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/53.0 Build ID: 20170413192749 Steps to reproduce: 1. Right click a live bookmark. 2. Click properties. Actual results: Properties only shows "Name" in editable field and an empty, editable description field. "Location" is missing compared to other bookmarks. Location can be copy/pasted from the bookmarks menu, but there is no indication that has happened until one pastes the URI somewhere (likely in the address bar, which is a security hole). Expected results: Options: 1. Properties should show location in a location that is selectable, but greyed out. Allows viewing and selection without making the user think they can edit it. 2. The context menu should indicate "copy URL" instead of "copy", so users know what they're actually copying. 3. Properties could actually have an editable location field like every other bookmark.

I think there are previous bugs about this. We should just show a tooltip on the feed. there is no point in showing the feed uri in the properties panel, since it can't be changed regardless, and it's already possible to copy the live bookmark to copy its uri. the removal of the feed uri was done on purpose some years ago to simplify the dialog code that was becoming a mess.

Emphasis on "discoverability". What indication does one have that they can copy/paste like that? That's not typical user or browser behaviour. As I said, greyed out would show that it's not editable, but still give the pertinent information. Then at least it wouldn't be obscured. A browser obscuring a URL/URI like this is pretty unusual/unexpected.

It's the same behavior for all the bookmarks from at least Firefox 3 (or 4? don't recall) While I agree it's not very discoverable, the need to copy a feed uri is also quite rare.
