Happens with some flash pages, "worksforme" with others.
To repeat:
1. Open a new browser window (ctrl+n) so closing the other won't stop mozilla
process.
2. Load a page with flash content in one of the windows, wait for it to load.
3. Right-click the flash content part, a menu will pop up.
4. (optional) Uncheck "play", "repeat" and "high quality" - the bug appears in
more cases than with these checked.
5. Without clicking anything else (popup still open) click the "x" (close
window) icon of titlebar of the window in which the popup was opened.
The window will close, but in many cases the popup won't. It will remain,
"sticky" (remains while you change desktops) and inactive, covering it with
other windows erases the contents.
My flash plugin version:
File name: /usr/lib/netscape/plugins/libflashplayer.so
Shockwave Flash 4.0 r12

It may be closely related, but it's not a dup. It's somewhat similar but less
common and nastier.
From Bug 63182:
>3. try to remove the menu that appear with left-clicking other part of the
>window or right-clicking again.
>
>Actual Results: menu doesn't disappear
>
>Expected Results: menu disappears on any click ouside menu area
In this case:
5. Without clicking anything else (popup still open) click the "x" (close
window) icon of titlebar of the window in which the popup was opened.
Actual results: Menu doesn't disappear.
Expected results: The menu disappears together with the closed window.
Note though, that if you clicked ON any item of the menu as in 63182,
(with the browser window still open), the menu closed, the item was normally
selected.
In this case, the menu remains completely unresponsive. It even ignores kill
signals from xkill. The area won't refresh after you move some window over it
either.
(you'd think people rarely close windows without closing menus first.
Unfortunately 63182 is fully valid and closing the window is often
preferred method to avoid visiting Macromedia page.)
I suggest changing this to RESOLVED LATER or adding dependence on 63182,
since fixing that one might automatically fix this.
(clicking "x" will first be processed as a click outside the menu, properly
closing it, and then it will close the browser window.)
