1360737 - The symbol option displayed in the editor items is not closed

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3029.81 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

We have text editors on our application, such as notepad and the symbol option does not go away when I go to a next screen and come back. 

1. Access https://jsbin.com/jureyohixa/edit?html,js,console,output
2. Hit Shift and any other key to enter get symbols options for e.g. hit Shift+A 
3. Hit "Remove" button

This is was found on a MAC/FF ESR 



Actual results:

symbol option is not closed


Expected results:

symbol option should be closed.

I have questions.

1. What version of macOS?
2. Do you test on Firefox ESR 52?  If so, does this occurs on Nightly 55 from https://nightly.mozilla.org/ too ?
3. Is input source English (US)?
4. Please attach screenshot after reproduced.

1. This was tested on mac 10.10
2. We currently test on FF ESR 45 only

We also tested this on Mac10.10.5, Mac10.12.4 and Mac10.12.5 beta 2 with FF ESR 45.9.0

Does "symbol option" means by [Accessibility] - [Keyboard] - [Enable Sticky Keys]?

And could you test this on Nightly (https://nightly.mozilla.org/)?  If you reproduce this on 45.x only, we don't consider to fix on 45.x release since this is outdated version.

We tested this on the FF ESR 52 and this issue is not seen. This can be considered as closed.
