1361716 - Firefox ignores homepage settings

STR:

1) open settings -> general -> home
2) set homepage to a web site (www.google.com for example)
3) exit settings
4) open a new tab via tab control
5) go to that tab

result: tab opens to Top Sites

6) go into settings -> general -> home -> panels and hide Top Sites
7) exit settings
8) open a new tab via tab control
9) go to that tab

result: tab opens to Bookmarks

10) go into settings -> general -> home -> panels and hide Bookmarks and History
11) exit settings
12) open a new tab
13) go to that tab

result: tab opens to about:blank

Are you using activity stream or something? I don't even see half the things you're talking about in the preferences.

In any case, the "home page" pref didn't use to affect the new tab page at all before activity stream.

Or is this meant to be filed as an android bug? In which case, please move to Firefox for Android.
