See this profile: https://perfht.ml/2qbmtzM This was in a new Firefox profile that didn't have any cached symbol tables. There are 293 samples that have nsThreadShutdownAckEvents on their stack, which seems like a lot.

This was caused by the symbolication code that I replaced in bug 1509549. It should no longer be an issue.
