Lets say one loads an url from places (pressing left/rig) but doesn't want to load it yet, for some reason. (eg the browser is already busy loading other pages)
Switching away and back gives back the original search string, not the URL that was in fact already loaded into the urlbar.

This result is identical to when someone presses escape when a places result is selected via up/down arrows, which also results in getting the original search string back. But differs from when one presses escape after the url was loaded via left/right arrow keys. Which clears the urlbar completely.

I think retaining the selected url may largely increase the chance of spoofing, thus I'm not sure we should do this.
