1364647 - Feature Request: Manually Add/Remove Mozillian/Reps Attendees to an Event

It would be great to have a feature in the Reps Portal wherein the event organizer can manually add Mozillian or Reps Attendees to it. Based on experience, people are too lazy to hit the "I will attended" button before or after an event.

Thanks for the input. This might be a little bit tricky though. I think it should at least ask the Rep/Mozillian if it's okay to be added. Or maybe the possibility to remove yourself as we already have from the event is enough.

Refining the request:
- Adding a Mozillian/Rep as attendee to the event will send a confirmation link via email.
- Ability to remove a Mozillian/Rep as attendee to an event (as some are habitual "I will attend" clickers but won't show up in the actual event)

Michael, we should have this on a list of "nice to have" and see if community can help taking some of these things and that doesn't lead us to more maintenance work. 

Currently we don't have the staff bandwidth to code new features in the portal.

Thanks, just wanted to make sure that this is what we want so nobody would do work for nothing. In that case, this is up for grabs!

I agree with Michael we need to find a way to identify the people that were added on the event otherwise it will create confusion.
About the ability removing I think that should be only allowed to the Rep organizer.

And yes as Ruben has mentioned we don't have the devs to it so it's open for anyone to work on

Moving this to P4 as we won't do any complicated new features and fixes for not completely broken features for events for now.

As we've moved from reps.mozilla.org to the Community Portal, I'm closing this bug. Filter out these emails by searching for "REPS_PORTAL_BUG_CLOSURE"
