User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3029.110 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce:

I could see the email's subject but download the message. I saw it was a known issue. I thought you should know it is causing problems. I downloaded/installed version 45.8.0 (I believe the preceding version). I had to find the compatible Lightning calendar add-on.

Moreover, I needed to turn off automatic updates and NOTE the need to wait for a release that WORKS. This needs to be addressed.

Actual results:

Everything is well in paradise after backing up and reverting to version 45.8.0 and turning off auto-update, other than now we have to worry about how to stay current.

Expected results:

You should fix this known issue that the last release won't download email, something email programs generally should do.
So you're complaining about a known issue in TB 52.1? As per the release notes:
https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/52.1.0/releasenotes/
Unable to load full message via POP if message was downloaded partially (or only headers) before.

This will be fixed in TB 52.1.1. For now, you can return to TB 52.0.1.

That's what I meant to say; "Unable to load full message via POP". Thanks. I will wait for T.B. 52.1.1.
