2) close the browser using the close tab button on the main tab

Frontend doesn't 'cache' anything here, I expect this is related to how we deal with touch-to-mouse event conversion. There must be some kind of event that makes the DOM/layout code think the button is still being 'hovered'. Moving to Win32 widget as a result.
