From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:0.9.9+) Gecko/20020408 BuildID: 2002040808 The latest news java applet at the top of the above URL doesn't load at all. The applet loads and works fine with KDE 3's Konqueror and j2sdk 1.4.0. It also works fine under IE. There is a brief flicker when the page loads and then nothing happens. The other elements in the page load properly. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Go to http:news.bbc.co.uk/ 2. 3. Actual Results: Latest news column at the top is empty. Expected Results: Java plugin loads normally and show the news flash. I am not sure whether this a fault with the plugin as the applet loads under the same java run-time with konqueror. I am using the latest stable version of Java plugin $JAVA_HOME/jre/plugin/i386/ns610/libjavaplugin_oji140.so.
