This is a request. The classic theme in OS X uses the "pinstripe" default background. I have always believed that the "Classic" theme is supposed to be just that -- "classic," as in, the classic netscape/mozilla gray background. I have heard there was a debate over this, but I believe that the classic theme should represent the true classic look, not the Mac OS X look. To me, it'd look much better. If this brings up argument, why not have 2 classic themes - classic 9 and classic X? Classic X being pinstripe and Classic 9 being Gray. This pinstripe background decision seems to be an oddball, as all other mozilla builds for other OSes use the gray for classic.
According to http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=50693#c6 the Classic theme isn't meant to be a 4.x-style look.
