I Run Windows 2000 Professional, Mozilla 9.9 (with bug tacking enabled). My PC is connected to the web through a standard ethernet lan (50 computers or so), behind a firewall. I've set the "quick-launch" mode. It just works fine. After 1-2 days of using Mozilla (under the same quick-launch "session"), it's impossible to use telnet from my machine. At the same time, I also use Dynamo which is unable to open connections on other machines (JDBC connection). Mozilla is not affected. As soon as I disable quick-launch and quit Mozilla, everything get back to normal. I can also get back to normal by disabling my net connection and re-enabling it right after (using the standard Windows dialogs).
Reporter: Do you see many open connections with "netstat -a" (if you get this problem) ?
Stefan, do you use mailnews? This sounds a lot like bug 67957.
I had the same problem. But stopping Mozilla didn't fix it. Therefore I guess this is a non-issue. Sorry.
resolving WORKSFORME - reporter's comment 3 implies Stefan was not having a problem with mozilla any more.
