As a follow up to bug 1354457 we could benefit from a more involved test case. In that bug I'm adding a test to make sure pause and resume work with video recording. This bug tracks a more detailed test (or update to the existing one) that tests recording audio, video, and audio and video with separate recorders and making sure their results are consistent with one another and also correct. This is important as the code paths are different for the different recording scenarios mentioned above. Indeed bug 1354457 saw unique breakages depending on if recording involved audio, or audio and video. It would be good to have coverage to let us know if such breakages should occur again.
