Steps to reproduce:

Tried on another mac with Thunderbird at 45.8.0 and sending to a group is fine.  Updated Thunderbird on this mac to 52.1.1 and it no longer recognizes any of my local mac address book groups.  (selecting a group results in the send button remaining greyed out.  choosing any individual contact works fine)


Actual results:

choosing a group from my local mac address book as the email destination when creating a new email does not work.  The send button remains greyed out.  The only way to do this send is to select every member of the group individually.  None of my groups work at 52.1.1.  This happens on both of my Macs at 52.1.1.  45.8.0 worked perfectly


Expected results:

When composing a new email, entering a group name from my local mac address book should be recognized as a valid destination, and the send button should go dark (active)

Know problem, fixed in TB 54 beta and will be fixed in TB 52.2 out in a few weeks.
