User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; rv:55.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/55.0 Build ID: 20170520030204 Steps to reproduce: - setup in extension dir a file as bug_testcase@mozilla with following content: E:\Mozilla\Extdev\bug_testcase@mozilla.org\ - place the addon on the path - start firefox Actual results: - content.js will not processed at firefox start sincse 15.05.17 - mozregression leads to Bug1361900 - it is on legacy as also on webextensions - with disable/enable button the addon works - console errors: 1495307627405 addons.xpi ERROR Attempted to load bootstrap scope from missing directory E:\Mozilla\Firefox\Devel\extensions\E:\Mozilla\Extdev\bug_testcase@mozilla.org Log.jsm:748 1495307627406 addons.xpi WARN Add-on bug_testcase@mozilla.org is missing bootstrap method startup Expected results: With a addon setup via proxy file, the content.js should work without failure messages on firefox start.
