Event dialog window is not closing after changing the event and hitting "save&close" button if the event has attendees

Details

STR:
1) make sure the event dialog apsears in window mode
2) create an event with at least one attendee
3) hit save&close
4) confirm or decline sending the invitation
5) reopen the event
6) change a property like location or summary
7) hit save&close
8) confirm or decline sending the invitation update

Expected:
Like after step 4, the event dialog window is closed after step 8

Observed:
After step 8 the event dialog stays opened, while the invitation update would have been send out successfully. No related message appearing in the error console.
