This only started happening in the last month. When I drag/drop a pdf or image, it saves as a weird file that I can't then upload. I am forced to save it, move it to desktop, and that fixes it. Not a critical issue, but with the # of downloads I save, it's a pain that wasn't there before. In image attached. On the right is what it does, on the left is what it should do.

This has been addressed in bug 1330470 and will be resolved in the next version of Firefox. Thanks for reporting!
