Build 2002041017 (1.0.0 Branch) on Mac OS 9.2.2

When I have the sidebar collapsed in a browser window, sometimes the cursor
changes to the sidebar resize cursor when I try to click on text fields,
including the input bar at the top. The only way to remedy this issue is to
hide the sidebar in the view menu.
Just to clarify: when the cursor changes to this, I cannot edit the text in the
actual fields. I think the problem may affect links as well, though I am not
sure. The problem is intermittent, but I've seen it often enough to be annoyed
(I saw it with a trunk build late last month as well, before the freeze).
I cannot reproduce this using 4/10 build on Mac 9.x

WFM.
Using Mozilla 1.0 RC1 on Mac OS 9.2.2, I still see the problem intermittently
but am able to get it to go away by expanding and collapsing the sidebar. I
have yet to notice a definite browsing pattern that produces the problem, but
it's come up often enough in my browsing to be a nuisance.
Okay, here was what I was doing when it last happened to me:

1) My LiveJournal friends page was open in the active tab.
2) An HTML page on my hard disk was open in a background tab.
3) I had used the scroll wheel on my Kensington Mouse-In-A-Box Pro (which still
scrolls Mozilla badly -- a bug that remains open) to get the page to scroll a
few times.
4) I moved the cursor over the tab area and over the toolbar, and it showed that
sidebar expansion cursor. (The one that looks like this <-|->)
5) I used the grippy with the finger cursor to expand and collapse the sidebar.
6) Voila! My good cursor is back.
I have had the same problem since 0.98 or earlier to RC1. Using Win XP Pro and
Linux.

The way I consistently reproduce it is as follows.
1. Have more than one page open in separate tabs.
2. Collapse the sidebar.
3. Click on the Sidebar separator very close to the top, usually at the level of
the webpage tabs.
4. The cursor will change to left-right dragging cursor and stay like that.
Point the cursor to any interface elements and it stays as right-left cursor.
5. Point the cursor to the Sidebar grippy and click to expand Sidebar
6. The cursor goes back to normal
I have seen this problem with builds from the last few weeks, on win2k. I can't
list exact steps to reproduce, but it is a fairly common occurence. As others
have noted, opening and closing the sidebar appears to "fix" it.

Can't find a dupe (though it could be related to bug 137300).
