MDN would like to enable http2 on CloudFront.
- Is this possible?
- Are there configuration options or is it just on or off?
- Have other teams experienced any problems turning it on?
I would like to pick a time to enable it where I can be available to monitor
our site analytics to make sure it does not have any adverse effects. During
this time, would it be possible if someone could be around on IRC to disable it
if it goes badly.

Yes it is possible: https://aws.amazon.com/about-aws/whats-new/2016/09/amazon-cloudfront-now-supports-http2/
Yes it is simply on or off, no options to speak of that I'm aware of.
I don't know of any teams experiencing problems with it but I just haven't heard much on that front so not sure that's super helpful.
We can certainly coordinate action, what origin or distribution is this for?

Yes that's perfect and I believe that's hosted by the CloudOps team so I can offer advice but not change that. FWIW, asking around it was agreed that switching HTTP2 offers little in the way of risk as far as we've seen.

Great to hear is hasn't been a problem for anyone else. My only concern is unexpected side effects of the javascript arriving in a different order than it does now. It's all been architected to arrive asynchronously so it shouldn't be a problem.

You're on PST? How's 2:00 June 1st work for you?
Can you be available for an hour after that in case the analytics report something has gone wrong?

Benchmarks are showing speed improvements and not seeing any increase in JS errors.
Thanks for your help.
