When looking at job https://treeherder.mozilla.org/#/jobs?repo=try&revision=d4368fa876ae07c7c071ffa75ca507b4cf06157f On Firefox for iOS tap one of the orange intermittent. The job is selected and show an empty content. Unlike on desktop, the default view is "Failure Classification" instead of "Failure summary" It should select the same tab as on desktop so that useful information is shown by default..

Actually wrong description... The Failure Classification tab is selected on desktop but is filled up. On Firefox for iOS (and Safari) its content is empty.
Summary: Errors do not show when using Firefox for iOS due to wrong tab being selected → Errors do not show when using Firefox for iOS

Could you paste any errors that appear in the console?

Using https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=console+Firefox+for+iOS I found: https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Tools/Remote_Debugging

The versions of Firefox for iOS and iOS itself (since it dictates the webkit version, which is important given Firefox for iOS is just a wrapper around webkit) will be useful too.

I had no luck with Web IDE in Firefox and the valence stuff.. always getting an error that it can't connect. Using Safari and XCode however, I could check.. but the console is empty

It works on Firefox beta and iOS 11 beta 2. Haven’t tried with iOS 10 yet.

From comment 10 it sounds like this is working on iOS 11, which has now had the GA release (so WFM). For reasons similar to bug 1269281 comment 22, this would be WONTFIX for iOS 10.
