From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0; T312461) BuildID: 2002031903 If an image cannot be downloaded, because the host does not accept the connection or is not found, then Mozilla pops up a message saying e.g. "Connection was refused". As an example, I have some ad sites blocked by listing them in my hosts file as 127.0.0.1 For every image, Mozilla pops up an error. In contrast, IE just displays an error in place of the image. Netscape 4.78 also does not display a popup, it just leaves the space blank. Perhaps, all the error dialogs should be scrapped, in favour of error pages like IE. I find the popup dialogs quite jarring, because they look and behave completely different. You can't just click back. You can't copy and paste. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Enter an image site into your hosts list so that it is redirected to 127.0.0.1 (localhost) or otherwise find a broken image link (even just browsing a local page with no internet connection) Actual Results: Popup dialog saying error Expected Results: An error text that appears in place of the image
