Steps to reproduce:

Start firefox


Actual results:

Firefox immediately crashes on startup


Expected results:

The new window for Firefox show show up

meisam.fathi: what version of Firefox are you running? Did Firefox used to run successfully and this is a new problem?

This is a duplicate of bug 1366283. Unfortunately, we've been unable to reproduce so far. The crash seems to be related to dynamic loading of libraries after an OS update to 10.12.5.

To confirm Stephen's point, this started happening after I updated to Mac OS 10.12.5.

This happens with all versions I tries: Firefox 53.0.3 (stable release), Firefox 54.0b12 (beta release), and firefox-55.0a1.en-US (nightly built release)
