I needed to use a custom size fonts (105 dpi) in place of the more usual 96 or 110 dpi fonts windows uses. After setting them up, the rendering of tables was badly broken, apearing borders in cells and rows where they were not supposed to be. As fast as I switched back to standard size fonts the problem was solved.

Reporter: In the future, please use the Bugzilla Helper for
reporting bugs: http://www.mozilla.org/quality/help/bug-form.html
(among other things, it automagically adds your BuildID)
BTW could you attech any testcase or your file with table?

just tried setting Windows font sizes to various custom values, and I can't
reproduce a bug. having said that, some sites do appear somewhat odd when viewed
like that, because they specify table widths in pixels and assume a particular
font size, but nothing unreadable or that I would describe as a bug.
reporter (Vicente): can you still reproduce this problem with a recent version
of mozilla? if so, can you provide an example of a web page where you see the
problem? if this is no longer a problem, please resolve this bug as WORKSFORME.
thanks.

Vincente: can you still reproduce this problem with a recent version of mozilla
(for example, 1.1beta)? if so, any chance of those samples? otherwise, please
resolve this as worksforme. thanks.

One example of the rendering bug with mozilla 1.0 under windows xp, as I said
before this only happens when you tell windows to use custom size fonts (it
supports directly 96 dpi and 120dpi size fonts..).

I tested it at work with a mozilla 1.1 build and doesn't work, I'll try to add an attachment tomorrow showing the bug under a mozilla 1.1 build. AFAIK it's only a bug on windows, I use Linux myself and never showed up..

Can you add some URL:s to this bug?
Can you still see this with latest build?

No testcase, no URL from reporter.
Tried out the url:s in the screenshots and had no problems.
Resolving as WFM, Reopen if you can reproduce and please then add URL or a testcase.
