From comments[1][2] in bug 1364159 it seems as though this probe needs to undergo an audit to:

1) Add an alert_emails field to the probe so domain experts know when it changes all of a sudden. (While you're there, may as well add a bug_numbers field with this bug and 1364159 in it)

2) Use its data to determine whether or not some roots can be removed.
