Details
I often reply to messages which use the ISO-8859-2 charset but doesn't contain any non-ASCII characters. Since my name contains the special character "ø", I get a warning about not being able to encode all characters in the specified charset. Then I either have to go to View|Character Encoding or accept that my name might come out as "Jonas J?rgensen". A checkbox saying "Use my default charset even when replying to a message which uses a different one" would allow my to set my default charset to UTF-8 and never have to go to View|Character Encoding again.
