Details

Original issue from https://webcompat.com/issues/7213 Step to reproduce: 1. Visit http://www.singsnap.com/karaoke/watchandlisten/play/c5726f51d Expect behavior: flash player plugin loaded like in Firefox 53/54 or Chrome Actual behavior: flash player plugin not loaded. It's able to reproduce using Firefox 55 on Windows 10 and Linux, works on Firefox 53/54 for Windows 10 and Linux.
Flash is click-to-activate in Firefox 55 and everything appears to be working as designed. Flash is not activated by default, but if you click on the grey box that says "click here to activate plugin" then it works. I don't see any bug here. Eric, I'm not sure how we handle these: does this information get fed back to webcompat reporters?

The origin description from anonymous reporter. We don't have way to track who he/she is. But I try to reproduce this issue. My Flash player plugin setting is "Always Activate" on Firefox 53/54/55, Windows 10 and Linux so I don't expect "click-to-active". There is no "Click here to activate plugin" on Firefox 55 grey box. That's why I file this issue here to see if there is any difference between Firefox 53/54 and 55.

I found a way to reproduce this issue. Here are steps to reproduce: 1. Create a new profile 2. Run Firefox Nightly 55 (in my case it's 2017-06-05) 3. Visit the URL with Flash content 4. Restart Nightly 5. Visit the same URL, content not loaded. If I use mozregression, I don't restart Nightly so it seems works.
