Details

From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:0.9.9+) Gecko/20020410 BuildID: 2002041003 Well, this problem seems to happen after a little while of using win32 mozilla build 2002041003 (not too sure if it's in other builds, seems like a fairly new problem). The Mail and Newgroups window will dissapear after having had it open for a while. It still seems to somewhat exist though because when I click on the bottom-left mail button, the focus changes from the browser to nothing (or so it seems). Another reason I think that the window still somewhat exists is the fact that whenever I alt-tab after the dissapearance there is an extra mozilla icon; when clicked the focus also seems to be on nothing. And here's yet another reason: after I exit the browser, there's still some part of mozilla that is hanging around even though there is no taskbar icon for a mozilla window; I'll double click on my mozilla shortcut and it will take me directly to the browser without popping up the profile manager. If I look in the windows task manager after exiting the browser, I see an instance of mozilla.exe in the processes tab. After killing the process, the profile manager will come up upon execution of mozilla and the mail and newsgroups will work again for a little bit. Thanks, Justin Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Mozilla. 2. Open Mail and Newsgroups. 3. Surf the net for a bit. Actual Results: The mail and newsgroups window will dissapeared. Expected Results: The mail and newsgroups window should not have dissapeared.
