User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:53.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/53.0
Build ID: 20170518000419
Steps to reproduce:
With the IMAP on Thundebird: the mails read on another computer do not want to be sorted by the filters.
Actual results:
They remain in the inbox. They are never sorted.
To "force" them to be sorted, I have to go back to the list of filters and to run them one by one manually on the inbox.
Expected results:
I want to "force" all the filters to be executed, to filter all the mails at once.
Would it be possible to create a button to "force" all filters from an email account to run?
Or would it be possible to apply this is when you click on the Get Mail button?

What's wrong with |Tools > Run Filters on Folder|? That runs all the filters defined for the account on the current folder.

In version 52, if you have mail.imap.filter_on_new = true (the default) then all new messages get filtered regardless of whether they were read on another computer or not. If that setting is true and they are not being filtered, does the problem go away in safe mode? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird
If you are talking about very "old" mails, then exactly what Jorg wrote.

I didn't know that. So I just need a button to activate it, it would be very useful.
