RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 1367018

People

(Reporter: phubertgm, Unassigned)

Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.12; rv:55.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/55.0
Build ID: 20170612224315

Steps to reproduce:

I am running T-bird 52.2 64 bit on macOS 10.12.6 Beta 3.
I have perhaps 200 folders and have assigned colors using the Color Folders add-on for organizational identification. I have used the add-on for years with no difficulties.

Actual results:

With the upgrade of Thunderbird, now every time Thunderbird loads, all or most of my folder color assignments by the Color Folders add-on, which I've used for years, are gone. Oddly, one or two MAY remain.

Expected results:

Color assignments should persist.
I have posted the problem on the site for this add-on, so far with no response, AND have donated to the author. :-)

If there is some file I can save and restore to prevent this, I'd appreciate knowing about it. However, I would likely have to halt and run Thunderbird via AppleScripts to effect it.
I'm not sure why you've filed another bug for Color Folders given that this was discussed in bug 1367018 comment #2 and bug 1367018 comment #8.
