Steps to reproduce:

1. Go to the Customize section
2. Pick any of the tools from Additional Tools and Feature
3. Drag that tool frequently or fast into the blue part of menu section of the customization

Actual results:

Some of the tools are overwrite or fractionally doubled.

Expected results:

The tools should stay the same as before

I can't reproduce this.

Can you provide better steps to reproduce that work on a clean profile? Do you drop the item in the blue area, or on the panel, or somewhere else? What does your about:support graphics section look like? Do the effects in the screenshot go away if you minimize and then restore the window?

Does this reproduce in safe mode / with graphics acceleration turned off? Can you inspect the items in the palette, and how are they positioned?

I also don't understand the second screenshot - I assume the sidebar item is being dragged in that screenshot? Or is it permanently stuck there? Again, is this a graphics issue or is the DOM node somehow stuck in no-man's land? (I'm tempted to think the former, but given that I can't reproduce and the steps aren't really clear, I don't know.)

A bit, but I still can't reproduce. Please answer some of the questions I mentioned in comment #2, especially the ones about whether you see this problem in safe mode / with graphics acceleration disabled, or on a clean profile, and if so, please post your graphics information from our troubleshooting page (help > troubleshooting information).

Going to close this as incomplete given it's gone 3 months without a reply from the reporter and we can't reproduce.
