On OSX, using Nightly, my current experience with video playback is really poor. Symptoms: - after a few seconds, jank appears; - Firefox seems to miss events, badly – it can take 10+ seconds between the instant I click to pause and the instant the playback actually pauses. Example: http://www.extralife.fr/news-jv/16237/spider-man-comme-un-air-darkham.html (plays nicely with Opera)

(In reply to Ben Kelly [reviewing, but slowly][:bkelly] from comment #1) > Dupe? don't believe so, different platforms to start with. Can't reproduce on my OS X laptop (a 2012 macbook air) even with the 1080p stream

This doesn't appear to me to be a playback issue, but an overall performance one. What's the CPU usage, any chance of doing a profiling here?

I tried capturing a profile, but I probably hit the wrong process because it didn't show anything meaningful. Also, cannot reproduce with the latest Nightly, so I guess RESOLVED WFM.
