User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:53.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/53.0 Build ID: 20170520072017 Steps to reproduce: 1. Show all bookmarks (Ctrl+shift+O), or alternatively use subfolders in the bookmarks bar. 2. Grab a folder, drag it around, press ctrl+shift, notice how the icon changes to a link icon. 3. Drop it in another folder, notice that you now have 2 folders that look the same. 4. Modify either folder, notice that they are in fact separate copies. Actual results: The folder got copied. Expected results: The "copy" should have been a symbolic link.
