User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_5) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/58.0.3029.110 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
After years of Chrome I wanted to switch to Firefox 54 again, but the things that turned me off are:
* all the context-menus not using native font-size, color, correction-options etc.
* same for the awesome bar, it doesn't even seem to use antialiasing.
Actual results:
show ugly firefoxy menu
Expected results:
show native mac-style menu

Fabian, please try in safe-mode. This is working correctly for me on latest Nightly and release 54. Firefox. I've attached a comparison of what my context menu looks like over the attachment of a Firefox context you posted.

Tracy, how do I enable safe-mode?
Are you running the latest OSX? (10.12) ?

go to about:support. In the upper right of that page is a button to "Restart with Add-ons disabled"

I can do that, but I don't have a vanilla-installation.
Your screenshot the context-menu doesn't look native either. Are you sure you run the latest OSX?

Tracy, I restarted in safe mode and still have the same problem.
It's definitely not working correctly in YOUR screenshot.
It uses the wrong font, font-color and anti-aliasing.
What can I do here, this prevents me from giving Firefox another chance.

I think the reason my screenshot looks a little off is because it was taken on an external monitor. Everything looks much better on my MBP screen. marking this P4 (polish bug)

Your screenshot looks exactly like mine on my MacbookAir screen.
Latest Firefox does NOT use the same context-menu fonts, antialiasing and kerning that the rest of OSX uses.

Context menus on macOS now use (since 2021) native macOS menus.
