Note: This is especially visible on small screens. On Desktop you can resize your window to reproduce this too. The bug is not easily reproducible using the "Responsive Design Mode" due to how the zoom works in this mode.

2. Zoom in in the page.

Note: we usually want to do this to better see a detail of an image on wikipedia.

=> The "position: fixed" element is zoomed in too and is in the way of properly looking at the image.

Note that Chrome Mobile doesn't have the same issue, the page is zoomed in more like a "magnifying glass" way.
Yeah this is a long-standing bug that we've wanted to improve but it's a large change and we haven't had the cycles to do it yet.
