Since the removal of NPAPI, Gecko has had it’s own Plugin API (GeckoMediaPlugins/GMP).
This API is only documented on MozillaWiki¹ and not on MDN, which is a bit counter intuitive as that isn’t the first place where developers will go looking.
# Requested pages:
## Under `/en-US/docs/Plugins/`:
- `GeckoMediaPlugins`
- `GeckoMediaPlugins/Metadata` (If there is a better term for this, then use that instead²)
- `GeckoMediaPlugins/API`
- `GeckoMediaPlugins/API/GMPInit` (lower priority)
- `GeckoMediaPlugins/API/GMPGetAPI` (lower priority)
- `GeckoMediaPlugins/API/GMPShutdown` (lower priority)
If any more pages are deemed necessary based on the MozillaWiki documentation¹,
then please add them as well.
