Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:54.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/54.0 Build ID: 20170608105825 Steps to reproduce: Since Photon is getting rid of the separate search bar, there should be URL detection in the right-click menu. Chrome already does this. If it's a URL, it should say "Paste & Go" and if it's not a URL, it should say "Paste & Search". If you wanted to take this a step further, instead of simply saying "Paste & Go" you could rename it to "Go to www.cats.com" . And if it's not a URL, instead of "Paste & Search" it would say "Search Yahoo for "cats"". Renaming them to this might be more user friendly

This is not a duplicate, this is a new Photon issue. Photon only has 1 bar that does both searches and URL. Before Photon, there was a separate search bar, which meant URL detection in the clipboard wasn't as necessary. It's important that this gets done ideally before Photon ships

Deep down, it’s the same request for the same functionality, regardless of Photon.
