User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64; rv:55.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/55.0
Build ID: 20170622104007

Steps to reproduce:

Got to the Firefox to item Options, clicking Options.

Actual results:

Nothing.

Expected results:

Option dialog/tab should open.

I just changed some options with 55b3, then upgraded and now I do not get to the options again.
Problem disappears in safe mode, that means ff55b4 significantly breaks more compatibility than ff55b3.
Not a security bug.

If you open the browser console (ctrl-shift-j) do any errors appear there when opening the options?

If you create a separate clean browser profile ( https://support.mozilla.org/kb/profile-manager-create-and-remove-firefox-profiles ) are you still able to reproduce this issue?

Never mind this question, it sounds like it works in safe mode so it's probably an issue with your add-ons. Can you provide a list of the add-ons you have installed?
A dozen plugin deactivations later, it looks like IE Tab 4.0.20130422.1-signed.1-signed is the offending plugin. But I am still in an iterative process to reactivate the other ones again.
