It's a race condition and caused by the fact that we do not wait for the page being loaded: https://dxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/53477d584130945864c4491632f88da437353356/testing/marionette/harness/marionette_harness/tests/unit/test_switch_window_chrome.py#60 https://dxr.mozilla.org/mozilla-central/rev/53477d584130945864c4491632f88da437353356/testing/marionette/harness/marionette_harness/tests/unit/test_switch_window_chrome.py#68 We should make use of Wait().until() here in both cases.

Akshat, if you are still interested to work on this bug please let us know. Otherwise Balaji could pick it up. In general please see the user story field in how to get started. We documented the whole process very well, and I simply don't want to repeat it again. I hope you can understand. In case of questions you can always ask us on IRC in the #ateam channel.
