User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:54.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/54.0
Build ID: 20170608105825
Steps to reproduce:
There is a message box that forbids closing a tab or window.
Exemple :
www.support.microsoft1020afrmsf4768.com.s3-website.eu-central-1.amazonaws.com
Actual results:
As long as I have not closed the message box, the tab or window can not close.
Expected results:
When I click to close the tab or window, it should close.
It is a serious architectural error, no element should be able to prevent a user from closing a tab or a window. His actions should be given maximum priority.

What kind of message box was this? Do you have a screenshot, or can you describe the text in it? Did it ask for a username and password, for instance, did it have ok/cancel buttons or only 1 button or different buttons, or...?
