From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:0.9.9) Gecko/20020311 BuildID: 2002031104 I have attempted to cut and paste (control-c control v) text from Lotus Wordpro into the composer. This doesn't work. I can cut and paste from Lotus Wordpro into another package (eg Notepad) and then cut and paste from Notepad to the Composer. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Write a document in Wordpro. 2. Copy text from Wordpro doc using Control-c 3. Click in Composer to make it "current" 4. Paste the text into Composer using Contorl-v Actual Results: Nothing Expected Results: The text should have been copied from Lotus Wordpro to Composer

chesscoach, I don't have Lotus Wordpro handy. Could you do me a favor and launch the Windows Clipboard Viewer program from the system's start menu on the taskbar: Start->Programs->Accessories->ClipboardViewer If you run that program, then go into Lotus Wordpro and copy your text, the "Clipboard" window in the Clipboard Viewer app should display what is currently on your clipboard. If you pull down the view menu, towards the bottom of the menu (after the last divider/separator) is a list of the "data flavors" on the clipboard. For example copying the text off an HTML page in Mozilla lists these flavors under the view menu: Unicode Text Text Locale OEM Text Data Object text/html HTML Format text/_moz_htmlcontext text/_moz_htmlinfo OLE Private Data It might be helpful if you could attatch the flavors listed under that menu, including the ones that look disabled (grayed out) so we can see what Lotus Wordpro is putting on the clipboard. Cc'ing other editor folks that are involved with paste/clipboard.
