Heh, okay appears we have run into this issue before because top-level domains cannot be CNAME'd, knew I had seen this before. Okay so we have 2 options here:

www.mozilla.pe --> mozillaperu.github.io

(can't do it without the www)

If that is fine, let me know and I will get that set up.

OR

Option 2:

http://strd6.com/2016/02/github-pages-custom-domain-with-ssltls/

Let me know which option you would like to do and I will get that going for you, sorry again about the confusion.

could be first with www and then add config with https://www.cloudflare.com/ for free ssl if it is possible.

We worked on this today, made some headway, however the Nameserver changes are taking a bit longer than expected. We will resume work on this first thing Monday morning. Have a good weekend!

Right now, only the www without https will work, however once Mark Monitor updates our Nameserver changes, we should have a quick blip of downtime and then it should work via https. Sorry about the confusion!

Hey Angel,

Just wanted to give you a quick rundown of what we did in order to get this working:

We are using AWS Cloudfront to terminate SSL


We will need you to remove this file because we are not creating a CNAME that points www.mozilla.pe --> mozillaperu.github.io, instead www.mozilla.pe is pointing to our Cloudfront URL. This will finalize the HTTPS switchover once the file is removed. 
https://github.com/mozillaperu/mozillaperu.github.io/blob/master/CNAME

Once that file is removed everything will be working perfectly, including HTTPS connectivity to www and the apex domain itself. 

Let me know once you have removed the file so we can double check that everything is working properly.
