From Bugzilla Helper: User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.0rc1) Gecko/20020416 BuildID: 2002041617 (1.0 branch) using Flash 5.0r41, Mozilla crashes if its concurrently loading a new page and displaying Flash contextual options. I've seen this in another page that used the same format of Flash advertisement Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. click on an HTML hyperlink on the page 2. before the new page has loaded, right click on the Flash image Actual Results: the context sensitive options should be presented and the new page should load Expected Results: the context sensitive options are presented, the throbber throbs and soon after Mozilla crashes Talkback IDs: TB5249872H, TB5294413Z (each from a different web page)
sorry, I've mistaken something here, and I'm confused now the page mentioned only displays the advertisement if navigated to from http://slashdot.org/articles/02/04/16/146231.shtml?tid=142 (choose the "an article" link near the beginning of the text and its not a Flash plugin, I was so sure it was and I forget why now I've just upgraded to Flash 6.0.23.0 and have both tested regarding this bug report with the steps indicated here and with another image on the front page of www.macromedia.com that is definately Flash and cannot reproduce it, despite being able to reproduce it every time before
