Steps to reproduce:
i'm a user of the firefox beta channel and web.de mailcheck – installed from AMO, current version: 3.4.3.
the extension runs in minimized mode, aka not toolbar mode.
with ff54.x, everything worked as expected. with the update to ff55.0b1, and ever since till b7, the toolbar icon disappeared on mac. but not on windows.

Expected results:
i want the icon to be visible
