Created attachment 8885349 [details] awesomebar.png User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.11; rv:54.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/54.0 Build ID: 20170628075643 Steps to reproduce: Open a new tab, focus the URL bar, and type "bbc". (with default settings of browser.urlbar.autoFill = false and browser.urlbar.autoFill.typed = false) Actual results: URL autocompletes to "bbc.co.uk", while the first result in the dropdown is "bbcnews.com", and is selected. (See attached screenshot.) This creates confusion for what will happen when I hit Enter. If I want to navigate to "bbc.co.uk", I have to further type ".", or right-arrow to the end of the autocompleted URL. Expected results: If the URL autocompletes, it should match the first result in the dropdown, or else the first result in the dropdown should not be selected by default.
